MPL Construction & Architecture Company has been a design build contractor since 1972. Eighty-Five percent of our work is done on the design-build format.  Since 2005, MPL has had an in-house architect. MPL believes that the majority of available cost savings can be found during the design process.  MPL works closely with the owner to create an efficient design and estimate a budget before construction documents are even created.  As a result, MPL offers customers a unique, cost-effective service in the Chattanooga and East Tennessee area. MPL preforms work in Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee.  Most of MPL’s projects have taken place in Hamilton County Tennessee.  In no other place do we have more expertise in working with the building officials, fire marshals and related regulatory agencies.  We believe our ability to navigate through the permitting and certification process is second to none. MPL self performs portions of the construction.  The largest scope MPL self performs is the steel erection.  No other scope of work, in our opinion, is more integral to all other scopes on a construction site.  Having the ability to directly control the coordination and timing of the buildings structure gives MPL the control we need to keep projects on time and on budget. MPL has been a Butler builder since the eighties.  Often, a metal building is the correct choice for construction, but not always.  With-in house architecture MPL helps customers meet their construction needs with-in their budget.  MPL has built many small office renovation and many large factories and everything in-between.
